Cozy cottage w/firepit & expansive outside space!

Welcome to our charming cottage – offering a cozy and relaxing get-away from the ‘hustle and bustle’ of daily life’. Enjoy all that Southern Anne Arundel and Calvert County has to offer, especially the beautiful and scenic Chesapeake Bay. You’ll need a car to get to and from places, but there are lots of great restaurants, local waterfront bars, vintage shops, sandy beaches and boardwalks to explore within 15 minutes. The cottage is within 35 minutes to Annapolis & 1 hour to DC & Baltimore.

Our cottage was built in the 1930s and still boasts the original wooden rafters and brick chimney that runs through the center of the house and up through the master bedroom.  It has a blended style that mixes Mid-Century Modern furniture with minimalistic pieces, many which were vintage sourced so have lots of age and character.  You will also find plenty of interesting and colorful artwork.  The cottage offers two queen bedrooms, one bathroom, a formal dining area and a cozy living room with a Roku tv. The kitchen is well furnished with pots and pans, cooking utensils, and multiple options for brewing coffee.  We have set up the home as an intimate and relaxing space for two couples or a small group of friends. Our home has large windows which bring the outside “in”. On a beautiful day - open all the windows and move in between our multiple lounging spaces. 

Outside

Our property has a 0.5 acre backyard where guests will have access to three separate lounging areas: a screened in porch, a side deck and a back deck with a outdoor dining area ready for grilling.  The backyard is expansive and includes a beautiful fire pit nestled away from the house amongst the trees.

Important things to consider about this space:

Our cottage is old and has a lot of character. You will be walking on original hardwood floors that have an occasional creak.  If you are looking for a cookie cutter house, this might not be the place for you.  We have always thought it adds warmth and charm, but every person has their own preferences. 

The master bedroom takes up the entire top floor of the cottage with an open staircase. There is a door that separates the kitchen and second bedroom, however this is something guests need to be comfortable with. 
There is 1 bathroom on the ground floor. 

There is no dishwasher. 
You can get wood from the local grocery store which is 20 minutes drive, so please pick it up on the way if you are interested in having a fire outback.
