PMI Annapolis Contributes to Local Community Garden Initiative

While having lunch at a local restaurant in West Annapolis (Evelyn’s), PMI Annapolis had the pleasure of meeting local Alderwoman Karma O’Neill and learned about a local initiative to build a community garden. The Alderwoman connected PMI Annapolis with the organization leading the initiative and in August 2022, PMI Annapolis worked with the Clay Street Community Development Corporation to build and purchase items for a local Yard to Table gardening initiative in the historic Clay St. community in Annapolis. The garden boxes are being used teach community seasonal gardening and promote the importance of including locally sourced food to our diets. The Clay Street Community Development Corporation is a local non-profit organization and PMI Annapolis is excited for the partnership and continued growth of the effort. To learn more about the Clay Street Community Development Corporation, you can contact the PMI Annapolis team and we can connect you with the Clay Street Community Development Corporation leadership.
